Dave, My sound card is a SIIG DP SoundWave 5.1 PCIe. I actually have days where it works and other times not. I have tried fresh installs and still no luck. This card always works in Windows7. I'm willing to try another card but I see lots of other people struggling with sound card issues in Ubuntu.
Thanks for your help, -Ron On 02/19/2013 04:36 AM, Dave Lentz wrote: > [ 8.287564] ice1724: No matching model found for ID 0x12140324 > [ 8.290425] ice1724: Invalid EEPROM version 1 > > What brand/model soundcard is it?
