i can reproduce it in feisty also.

libnss introduces a change in its behaviour, now the file used is

/etc/libnss-ldap.secret

but ldapscripts are still looking for /etc/ldap.secret

a simple soft link solves de problem, maybe should be done by debconf
postscript.
