I also occasionally have this problem on a Thinkpad X230, but it is
quite difficult to debug, because it happens around after a week of
uptime.

The device which is unable to suspend is the following:

Ubuntu 12.10, kernel: Ubuntu 3.5.0-25.38-generic 3.5.7.4
