Public bug reported:

While running 12.04.2 on an HP Pavilion dm1, the system is unable to
resume from suspend while running the radeon driver.

The system successfully suspends, but on resume, the system starts
waking and the screen does nothing but flash like a strobe light. The
system had to be power-cycled to restore usability.
