According to the current translation by Dennis Baudys, submitted on
2010-10-18, it should give you a choice of "y" or "n":

The current version of Encfs was released on November 18, 2010. In
addition, Encfs is translated in Launchpad (Upstream translations).
Therefore it should contain the correct translation.

So this is not a translation bug but a bug in encfs.

I am going to test this on a VM running Raring tomorrow to see if it is
still present there.
