However, this is now on a freshly installed system. The one, which made the problems, came from a upgrade from 12.04 to 12.10. And, this might be noteworthy, too, I followed this guy, when installing the proprietary NVidia drivers: http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/ubuntu-quetzal-nvidia.html which mainly states, that before installing the NVidia driver, one should manually install kernel-source and kernel-headers.
