You are now using the open source radeon drivers.
Installing the proprietary amd drivers (13.1 edition) is only supported
up to kernel 3.4 and xorg 1.12 (text below copied from link):

Hence not sure that reinstalling just the driver would solve your issues (since
you are running 3.5 kernel AND Xorg 1.13)
