It looks like we get the right modeline from the VBT, so the broken EDID
would appear to be irrelevant and you can safely ignore the warning. If
you want to be daring you can grab the raw EDID from
/sys/class/drm/card0-LVDS-1/edid, run it through parse-edid, fixup the
checksum byte then use that to override the firmware's edid using
drm_kms_helper.edid_firmware=LVDS-1:<file>
