Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. I have been unable to reproduce this bug using Gutsy Gibbon
Tribe 3. I saw the new language being used after I restarted by X
session. Does this bug still occur for you and if so what language are
you choosing? Thanks in advance.

Ubuntu need to be restarted in order to new language configuration (locales) be
applied
