Steps to reproduce:
1. Make sure the "Desktop" directory does not exist in the user home;
2. Make sure the machine is not connected to the Internet, so that the on-line
submit process will fail.
3. hwdb-gui will try to save the data to the "~/Desktop" directory; if the
directory does not exist, the data will not be saved;
