I seem to be unable to help. All my efforts at creating a Live USB stick with the new kernel fail, and this is not because of the Kernel, it boots fine in a VirtualBox (although two-finger scrolling stops working).
I have also been unable to free up space on my hard-drive in order to install 13.04 along side with 12.04 LTS.
