In this package there is a special patch for ubuntu: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-branches/ubuntu/raring/xorg-server/raring/view/head:/debian/patches/500_pointer_barrier_thresholds.diff So you'll need that patched for it to work :(.
