We've now fixed this in Debian. In debian/conf/sites-available/default:
listen 80 default_server; listen [::]:80 default_server ipv6_only=on; I'm marking this Fix Committed since the fix has been committed to the upstream for this package. I'm going to leave it up to Thomas to decide whether or not a patch needs to be built for Ubuntu specifically. That should depend entirely on which Ubuntu releases are affected. Thomas: If you need to discuss this with me, I'll be in the lounge. ** Changed in: nginx (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => Fix Committed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1132678 Title: nginx: [emerg] bind() to [::]:80 failed (98: Address already in use) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nginx/+bug/1132678/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
