@Sera: I think that one reauthentication per account should be enough. Did you have to reauthenticate the accounts more than that? Rebooting once might also be necessary (with the new signond from raring this won't be necessary anymore) -- it all depends on whether the old authentication plugin is still loaded, so indeed it's safer to reboot (or just "killall signond").
