Thank you very much, Fabio. However, it's so hard for most of the people to understand all this stuff. I mean... I live in Chile and hardly speak english (I have to use a translator). All I want to do is help. And when I follow the link to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates#Procedure, I land on a page with hundreds of instructions, very hard to understand for a normal human being.
I don't want to be rude. I just want to help but get frustrated that I can't accomplish something that "should" be so easy to do. Please try to understand my point. Is there some way simpler to find a solution for this, other than having an expert friend of mine solving this? Please, take this as constructive criticism.
