I'm sorry, but those are bugs in the USB-writing programs in question, not in the Ubuntu images. The correct way to write an Ubuntu 12.04 ISO image to a USB stick is to do so WITHOUT MODIFICATION. These USB-image-creating tools which are modifying the image when writing it are buggy and need to be fixed to not make such modifications. However, we do not maintain these tools; please ask the tool authors directly to correct these problems. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1077388 Title: Ubuntu Raring daily has missing /casper/vmlinuz To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-cdimage/+bug/1077388/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
