That's a nice log, thanks. Still I would now need to know what MM was
exactly doing.  Can you now re-run MM with debug logs?

$> sudo mv /usr/sbin/modem-manager /
$> killall -9 modem-manager
$> sudo /modem-manager --debug

Get the MM log and attach it to the bug, and then recover the original
state:

$> sudo mv /modem-manager /usr/sbin/
