Public bug reported: If I try browsing files over the bluetooth connection with my smartphone, the whole thing works pretty well. However, if I try copy/pasting a couple of MP3's in my smartphone's memory card (still over bluetooth) in Nautilus, the whole UI frezes (including gnome). I had to kill gnome-session over TTY.
I know the bluetooth file browsing function is pretty unstable, but it shouldn't block the whole interface. I had it try to read a MP3 over the bluetooth connection, rhythmbox froze, and so did the Shell. I'm running 12.04 LTS, Thinpad X1 Carbon, Gnome-shell "stock" version (3.4) ** Affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1155579 Title: Complete gnome-shell freeze when using the "Browse files" over bluetooth function on my smartphone To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1155579/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
