that is indeed what 0.1.7 fixes. the updated package is ready, but not in debian or ubuntu yet as i'm waiting to get it sponsored.
TheGhost, until the packages are in ubuntu, you can use the packages from my PPA ppa:chrysn/dailydebs (what's uploaded there is currently as good as identical to the 0.1.7.1-1 packages i want to upload to debian). ubuntu maintainers, if you want to fix this before my upload to debian is completed and gets pulled into ubuntu, feel free to either adapt this recipe[1] (use the release branch instead of the master branch as base, and you'll get the very packge i'm uploading) or the package from debian mentors[2].
