Public bug reported:

Release: Lubuntu 13.04 alternate daily build march 12, 2013

During installation, when selecting the kernel, you have the following
choices:

linux-generic
linux-image-generic
linux-image-extra-3.8.0-12-generic
linux-image-3.8.0-12-generic
none

The first option, linux-generic, generates a working system afterwards.
The fourth option, linux-image-3.8.0-12-generic does not.
Common problems include the lack of necessary kernel modules, which results in
no network connection, wrong screen resolution, mouse not working,...
I'll have a look at the 2nd and 3rd option, so I can report later if they're
working or not.

** Affects: debian-installer (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Package changed: linux (Ubuntu) => debian-installer (Ubuntu)
