This is not a software defect in Linux Mint, but a problem you have with
Cinnamon on another distro. Please visit either the Ubuntu or Linux Mint
forums (Chat about Linux & Other Distributions section as you are on
another distro) for assistance. Possibly something from Unity is
conflicting? If you do find this to be a software defect in Cinnamon
(i.e., you can show where the problem is in the code) you can report in
on the GitHub page for Cinnamon.
