I am running the Dash from the PPA. After a reboot, I:
1. Hit the Dash key (Windows logo on this keyboard) to invoke the Dash
2. Start typing my search
Result:
Nothing
Expected:
What I type is entered into the text field
3. Click in the text field with my mouse
4. Start typing my search
Result:
Text is entered
