entangle is another reverse dependency; please check it doesn't depend on any removed API and continues to work.
If so, I don't see much reason to object since the transition is only two packages. I don't see any especially compelling reason /for/ the transition, though - the pygexiv2 stuff isn't targetted for raring and no packages need the new API. There's one bug fix in the version though. At least that's all I can see. http://redmine.yorba.org/projects/gexiv2/repository/revisions/04daca3db96951f9bab40ce6fcd653b912ab7153 Anyway, approved if you test entangle and follow through on the transition this week. ** Changed in: gexiv2 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1157475 Title: [FFE] new gexiv2 version To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gexiv2/+bug/1157475/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
