To reproduce this issue open one of the following dialogs:
1) Import Existing Projects into Workspace
2) Configure SDKs (this is a part of the Google App Engine Plugin)
The artifacts persist after exiting Eclipse and the system ultimately
hard locks (screen changes to white/black stripes) when left in this
state.
