Public bug reported:
I am seeing the following message when booting.
udevd[512]: kernel-provided name 'dm-0' and NAME= 'mapper/leds-lvol0' disagree,
please use SYMLINK+= or change the kernel to provide the proper name
^M
udevd[512]: device node '/dev/mapper/leds-lvol0' already exists, link to
'/dev/mapper/leds-lvol0' will not overwrite it

This appears to be the same issue as bug 621951 (fixed in Maverick), but
I'm still seeing it on Precise. This machine was originally a Hardy,
then a Lucid box in case that matters. I had just done a dist-upgrade on
the machine, so it should be current with Precise updates.
Relevant packages:
lvm2 2.02.66-4ubuntu7.2
dmraid 1.0.0.rc16-4.1ubuntu8
I will attach my /lib/udev/rules.d/55-dm.rules file, but I do see a
SYMLINK entry in there in what looks to be the relevant section.
** Affects: lvm2 (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
