Public bug reported:
the connection to ftp basically works okay. when opening a file via the
connection in gedit it get's open write protected (as gedit shows).
Saving is disabled (ctrl+s doesn't do anything). When using 'save as'
dialog it works well. Using Screem for a test didn't work at all. Just
"no permission" messages.
Write permission on the ftp server is no problem - tested with gFTP
several times.
