Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kmailcvt
This has apparently been around for a while, but strangely I do not see a bug on this. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=324816 If you use KMailCVT to import from evolution 2.x, it will import 1 folder and then freeze. The gnome system monitor shows the kmailcvt process taking up resources, but nothing beyond the first folder becomes visible in kmail/kontact. To repro: 1. Start with a user account for which evolution has been actually used for some time (as opposed to "faking" test data). 2. Launch Kontact. 3. Select "File -> Import Messeges..." 4. Choose "Import Evolution 2.x Local Mails and Folder Structure" 5. The file open dialog should come up on the correct directory. In case it doesn't, it is "~/.evolution/mail/local". 6. Click OK. The import will begin and it will behave as described above. ** Affects: kdepim (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- KMailCVT Freezes when importing from Evolution 2.x https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/127519 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
