Confirmed here too.
I received same error for swap #5. I tried a set-size vDisk and also a
expanding volume vDisk. Both no-go.

I ENABLED IO APIC option and it installed with no problems. After
install and pressed ENTER and the machine rebooted for the first time.
But each and every time i started the guest OS, The kernal would scroll
hundreds of errors then halt its self exactly after grub finished.

Solution: DISABLE IO APIC to make it boot normally with no problem.
