Joseph. 3.8.3 builds a new efi, 3.8.2 builds a new efi, 3.8.4 doesn't. however on reboot the minute I enable secure boot non of them boot. I'm wondering if I need to enable the secure boot for the kernel to be able to utilise the key in the UEFI. I don't know how it all works but then I can't boot the machine.
If you let me know a way around it I'm happy to try. I'm assuming it will require a live cd and a chroot of some sort. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1161566 Title: Regression on enabling the system for secureboot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1161566/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
