hello,

I have installed the 3.9 upstream kernel. My Lenovo Ideacentre q190
booted and loaded the new kernel. The only anomaly so far is a box that
sits to the left txt of which is attached. This window
seems to be perm. and so far I can't closes it. However, this does not
interfere with the left side menu bar.

I need to do some more browsing before I consider this bug fixed.
I will update the bug report shortly.

I will also see if the new kernel has a driver for the Realtek Wifi
chip.
