There are a lot of patches here for individual applications, but still
no resolution to the bug itself.
Any developer love for this bug would be greatly appreciated!

2) How to reproduce:
- Invoke MATE proxy settings from menu (or run mate-network-properties from
shell)
- Set the proxy
3) What happened:
Proxy does not work. When on the network which is behind proxy, can not
connect to the Internet (or any outer network behind proxy). Even the shell
environment variables in the environment from where the mate-network-properties
was ran are not set.
4) What expected:
Internet should be accessible when behind proxy. System environment variables
and related mconf/gconf records should be correctly set to proxy.
5) Problem happens everytime/always.
