And one more thing.
The file /var/log/ebox/ebox.log has wrong ownership:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/ebox start
[sudo] password for suvi:
Cannot write to '/var/log/ebox/ebox.log': Permission denied at
/usr/share/perl5/Log/Dispatch/File.pm line 86.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ cd /var/log/ebox
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/log/ebox$ ls
ebox.log
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/log/ebox$ ls -al
total 8
drwxr-xr-x 2 ebox adm 4096 2007-07-22 21:18 .
drwxr-xr-x 9 root root 4096 2007-07-23 17:20 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 2007-07-22 21:18 ebox.log
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/log/ebox$
The ebox cannot write to this file. So - when I change chmod to 777, then I get
at least ebox to work.
So can you please look this install script again, so that owner of ebox.log
file has right.
