A similar "showexec" option certainly can be implemented in ntfs-3g, it just takes someone with some experience with the ntfs-3g code and some time to do it. This should preferably be coordinated upfront with upstream in the forum or their developer mailing list (http://www.tuxera.com/community/ntfs-3g-faq/#bugreport) to get their input and help.
BTW, as another workaround you could just run scripts on these mounted drives through "sh /media/...". -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1153781 Title: Can not run .exe .com and .bat from NTFS formated USB flash drive To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ntfs-3g/+bug/1153781/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
