Public bug reported:
I made a USB installer for the Ubuntu GNOME 13.04 Beta 2 candidate image
using Precise's Startup Disk Creator.
It booted fine. I created a sample text file and saved it to Documents
and bookmarked a page in Firefox. I then rebooted. I got the normal
isolinux screen (pick a language and run the live image or boot straight
to the installer). The installer then freezes somewhere after plymouth
has loaded.
After pressing Esc, I see some error messages. I'm attaching a
screenshot as I don't think it has booted far enough for me to get to a
command line to submit proper logs.
One of the last lines is
/scripts/casper-bottom/32disable_hibernation: line 24: can't created
/root/var/lib/polkit-1/localauthority/50-local.d/disable-hibernate.pkla:
Input/output error
And then when I rebooted yet again, I got different errors after
pressing Esc.
