Binary package hint: update-manager
Upgrading a Gutsy with Tor installed but not running fails with error.
The upgrade fail if Tor proxy service isn't up.
Upgrade go fine if Tor is running.
The error (Tor is down) the script fail to stop service but service wasn't up:
Mi preparo a sostituire tor 0.1.1.26-1 (con .../tor_0.1.2.13-3_i386.deb) ...
Stopping tor daemon: There is no /var/run/tor directory.
invoke-rc.d: initscript tor, action "stop" failed.
dpkg: attenzione - il vecchio script di pre-removal ha restituito un codice di
errore 1
dpkg - provo quindi lo script dal nuovo pacchetto ...
