Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22
On a Dell Latitude L400, the CPU fan no longer runs (and the CPU
overheats under stress) after upgrade from Feisty to Gutsy.
Additionally (I'll file a separate bug for this) the battery is no
longer detected by ACPI.
During boot, before the kernel is started, the fan will run, so it's not
a hardware failure. Requested attachments in just a moment.
