Just about 10 minutes ago, Update told me that there were updates. So, I applied them. Now the GPU error that I had before has returned. I have confirmed that I am still using the 3.9.0-030900rc5-generic upstream kernel. So, I tried running from a terminal window at the command prompt 'ubuntu-bug linux' and I was told that since I am using a mainline kernel that it is better to report the bug at https://bugzilla.kernel.org/. I have requested an account there to do so.
Clearly one should not apply updates when you are using a mainline kernel. So, I will try to report this new problem there. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1162516 Title: GPU hangs using UEFI 12.10 Secure remix 64 BIT To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1162516/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
