According the bug upstream this is a problem in ghostscript 9.07 which is not handling the decimal separator correctly, when it is set locally as "," instead of "." by some languages. See:
http://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=693843 A workaround until it is fixed is to set the "regional formats" of the language support to a language where the decimal separator is the dot ".", for instance English. ** No longer affects: evince ** Bug watch added: freedesktop.org Bugzilla #61506 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61506 ** Also affects: evince via https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61506 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Bug watch added: Ghostscript (AFPL) Bugzilla #693843 http://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=693843 ** Also affects: libspectre via https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61506 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** No longer affects: evince ** Also affects: gs-gpl via http://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=693843 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1159931 Title: Evince not rendering Postscript files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gs-gpl/+bug/1159931/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
