I don’t know about these other people, but yes, I am seeing the bug you
describe: I get the desktop and panel, then two minutes later I get
g-p-m and nm-applet.
However, I get this bug both with and without compiz, so the compiz
component of this bug can be closed (unless somebody else sees this bug
go away after turning compiz off).
