Would you be able to create an image of the filesystem after windows has repaired it, but before trying to install ubuntu again, and then verify that trying to install once again corrupts the filesystem?
If /dev/sda1 is your EFI system partition, you can create an image of it with this command: sudo dd if=/dev/sda1 | bzip2 -c > esp.bz2 Then attach the esp.bz2 file to this bug report. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1162387 Title: I can't install ubuntu in HP laptop (15-b133es) grub installation problem To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub-installer/+bug/1162387/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
