According to the Linux kernel bug tracker related to this bug:
http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42690
this is not a bug of kernel, but it is a bug of the Ubuntu mainline kernel.

In brief, I tried a Debian precompiled kernel, and it didn't shows this kind of
bug (but produce a different power issue, see the previous link to the whole
description).
So it seems to be a bug related to the patches applied from the Canonical
Kernel Team on the vanilla kernel (and the bug on kernel.org is now closed).

If you need other informations or tests please tell me.

Best regards and thanks.
