I meant that the time in the panel of the live environment (when you just click on "Test Ubuntu") is set to UTC. I did not go through the installation process.
When you show Ubuntu to someone on its computer, I find it nicer if the time zone (and the keyboard layout) is chosen by default. (localisation is another issue as it needs disk space on the *.iso). As the installation process already does it right, why not the live environment ? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1156006 Title: On a daily build live USB, Ubuntu does not automatically pick up your time zone correctly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1156006/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
