Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22
Since feisty (i'm using gutsy now) when i shutdown the machine, it hangs on the last stage, while sending KILL signal to processes, waiting for cifs mounts umount. My guess is that network is turned off before we have networks shares umounted. So, when Ubuntu tries to umount that shares, it cannot find the network resource. ** Affects: linux-source-2.6.22 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- cifs mounts don't umount on shutdown https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/127938 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
