Ok. That suggests that the empathy plugin is causing a deadlock somewhere¹. Could you run ‘gnome-do --debug’ from a terminal, cause Do to lock up, and then from a *different* terminal run “killall -SIGQUIT gnome-do”? That will dump the state of all the Do threads to the console you ran gnome-do from. Could you please attach that output?
