Hi Everyone, I'm still having this issue (2012-12-21 comment 609). Very annoying! Freezes seem to be completely random, at the best my laptop has been running fine longer than month, but for example during the past two weeks, maybe ten freezes.
Yes, mouse not moving, keyboard not responding, no ssh, Ctrl+Alt+F1 not working, no tty.. Closing lid does not suspend. The only option is to power off the computer from the power button and start over. The same laptop also has W7 and RHEL6 installed, they run without problems.. Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS with the latest updates. Please, see the lspci-info attached for the details. No proprietary drivers, Intel Ivy Bridge. The bug #1154006 similar.. Fix appreciated, please.....!
