The native CUPS browsing feature has been restored:

I was able to make it work by making the following config file changes:
sudo nano /etc/cups/cupsd.conf
Browsing On
BrowseLocalProtocols cups
sudo nano /etc/cups/cups-browsed.conf
BrowseRemoteProtocols cups
