Hi Brad,
We've been seeing this same type of behavior recently on machines that
have Nvidia graphics. I see that you cleaned out basically all of you
config files to get this to work. It's not clear from your bug report,
so I'm wondering if you have Nvidia graphics as well. If you do have
Nvidia graphics, then I think we can dup this to bug #1166765.
Otherwise, I think we'll unfortunately have to mark this as Won't Fix
since there doesn't seem to be enough info to dig into what in your
config files caused this.
