I read something interesting; there seems to be a program name touchreset which is part of the per-installed software from Dell. As known, there are or had been also some problems with the touchscreen with Windows - changing the priority or killing and restarting touchreset would often help to make the touchscreen responding again. Perhaps it would be possible to implement a reset-function into Linux which is than executed very 30 seconds or so.
I'm still not very familiar with launchpad - I hope my postings will be seen and can help to improve Ubuntu. The low activity here just makes me thinking whether I better had reported it as a separate bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1159477 Title: xps 12 touchscreen issue To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1159477/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
