I've been having this problem in Raring for a few months now.  I started
doing some investigating and tried running the same duplicity command
that deja-dup spawns.  When I do that, duplicity asks for my Ubuntu One
email address and then password.  I'm beginning to think that deja-dup
is not handling this input correctly.
