13.04 is still in development. It's unfair to judge the developer for supporting an OS that is not officially released. some applications may may working on a development release but we at this stage we should be more cognescant and support.
Not all Ubuntu users are developers, personally I appreciate paid apps that provide great support. There are people that are great hackers and appreciates free and open software, and I have high respect for them.
